Now now now - let's not go crazy ;)

Just dropped big bucks on a Cappellini 6mm oil pump, so I need a bit of recovery!

HaHa

You'll need the extra horsepower to drive the bigger pump....... :-)

Power in hp = US gal/min X (lbf/in³)/1714

Sorry, that mathematical formula is incomplete.

It should be: Power in hp = US gal/min X (lbf/in³)/1714 X $$$$³

Now it's correct.

Big valves next Vince...?

I got some nice oversize valves from these guys....

Don't need them. I raced a 350 motor with big lumpy cam and modified CB350 pistons for years initially with oversized valves and later with a different head and stock sized valves. The latter head was much better. I'm sure it lost a little at the very top end but it came off corners so much better that lap times were lower.

I wouldn't even think about big valves on a street motor.

A bit late but here is another view of the Cams which LM requested. A bit difficult to get a good angle....

Now I've found the parts again, happy to take measurements, more photos etc....

I wouldn't mind more info on this. Now that I have my other Hawk motor running, wouldn't mind building up something a bit more extreme... or as extreme as 305-350cc will allow.
