New cables

Post by GORDON BROWN » Fri Oct 10, 2014 4:00 pm

Hello Tunster

Just a thought regarding the new cables, if they are for the racer the std. cable lengths esp. clutch and brake may not be best with the "clip-on" bars. They tend to need something slightly shorter for best routing.
Hope you are getting on well with the bike, did you get a chance to check the ignition, gearbox, etc.

Sorry for late reply been busy with other stuff so not had time to get the bike running yet. The wheels are back rebuilt new tyres etc and temporarily back in the bike. Just need to flush out fuel tank then bump her off. Can't see any reason why it shouldn't run though.
