Nice bike and all, but 8 grand? Anybody else wanna chime in on this asking price as I'm curious enough.

I've already got mine so let the prices go nuts.

I think the guy is trying to get out of it what he has into it if he had it restored by someone else.

It is a pretty bike. But it is not right as most of you know. Obvious omission is the muffler, which should be welded to one of the pipes.

At the MidAmerica Auction in Las Vegas last Jan. I stopped bidding at $6700. I just picked one up from a collection for $5000.00 and it is just as nice.
But what people 'ask' and what they 'sell it for' is a different story.

Off topic but what is that tab for at the top of the left fork? Left of the speedo?
