My $0.02:

We are fortunate to have people willing to invest in making any aftermarket parts at all, especially electronic ignitions. It is no small undertaking and you can bet Charlie is dreading this more than any of us. He has a bunch of cash tied up in it and is probably beginning to wonder why he decided to do it in the first place. In the worst case he may end up losing all his money or have to decide whether to spend more suing the supplier who is causing our frustration and costing him money.

I am not trying to give Charlie an excuse here. But, we should not do anything to discourage a guy who has already given us updated Dream headlights. Not a very comfortable position for anyone who has laid out money but, it will eventually benefit all of us if Charlie does succeed. We should encourage him.

Nicely put.

I've been in a similar position in my professional life. Sometimes you just wish you could give everyone their money back and walk away. Unfortunately that's not an easy as it sounds.........

Well about time I updated this post so I have been running the new Charlies electronic ignition with a Wassell rectifier/regulator

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-12V ... 5669b444a0

and a Mottobatt
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motobatt-Upgr ... 564ccdfce9

Bike fires up so easy and no problems out on the road have covered some 400 miles only will report back at a later date.
So would I recommend the E/ign yes but if you live in the UK then it will cost over £200 (no im not rich just mad pensioner)
