Oil pump question...

I looked at two parts diagrams. CMSNL online, and an old parts book I got with the bike.
Both say quantity is 3 for the small washers (p/n 90485259000).
I am usually quite careful disassembling something for the first time and so I don't lose things but I only have 2 washers. Both were on the main gear shaft, one either side of the pump body.

Is the reference material correct? Did I in fact lose one?

Only 2 were ever installed in the shaft. ..................lm
