Everyone I find is across the country from me down here in south Fl.....instantly adding $1000.00 + to it's price in fuel and time from work to go see it and bring it home, bummer....

In 1966 at 14 got my license and bought a new cl90 for $380.00 I think it was, had that two years and upgraded to a 67 cl77, in 70 bought a used 750 with the rough cases. Quit street riding in 72 for 30 years, raised a family, runned them all off and bought a new 02 Blackbird for my birthday. Put 20,000 perfect fun filled miles on it and found another one just like it at 04 Bikeweek, a never serviced 02 leftover at Jim Walkers Honda shop in Daytona. Gave him mine and 4g's, drove away on a brand new one.

Since then I tried a new xr650l for a year, couldn't get comfortable on it and sold it with 1000 miles, recently bought a new klx250 and the same thing. I had to admit to myself these new "Dual Sports" today are just too tall and dangerous for an old fool like me to mess with.
Traded the Blackbird for a new 07 ST1300 several months ago and absolutely love it. After a couple months kinda missed the adrenaline rush the XX gave me so gave in to a new cbr1000rr.

I ride sundays and have to go 100 miles across long flat straight roads to the first hill and corners over by Lake Placid and Sebring area mainly for fun. Will find a 305 scrambler one day for cruising around town with here, would be a blast. My last 305, both Blackbirds, ST, and RR, all honda Silver, matches my hair.........

I live in Palm City, couple clicks north. You ever go to the Moroso Shell sunday mornings or any of the area bikenites? would love to see and HEAR your 305? Gives me wood remembering all the music mine use to play for me forty years ago...........
