Hi i have a 1964 CB77 in race trim which is in need of new parts ie new liners, 1mm oversize valves, piston rings K4 type for Asso pistons, can any of you point me in the right direction where i could buy said parts, i used to get the liners from Dennis Murfin years ago but i have lost his contact number, is Dennis still doing parts etc. i hope to get the bike running so my son can race it next season in classic races at the local circuits in the north west uk, well thats the plan up till now just depends on availability of the parts we need.

Good to hear about an other CB77 racer possibly getting back out on track, I do not have any liners but do have a usable 64mm cyl. with used Asso pistons etc. that could get you out on track. I may have rings ( will need to check ) and other stuff, if you have not been able to get what you need already and have not got Dennis Murfin's details yet PM me and I will see what I have. 64mm linersHi Gordon i could be interested in the cylinders & asso pistons etc depending on what you want for them, the bike i am trying to find parts for i used to race it years ago, at the moment it is complete but not very well !! hence the need for liners as they are worn out, pistons (Asso) need new rings, also found that one of the cam lobes need repairing/reprofiling as it worn a flat at the top of the cam lobe, do you know of anyone who is good at doing cam reprofiling, it is a Read Titan race cam.
I now have Dennis Murfin's contact and will be getting in touch with him soon, i hope to have the bike ready for my son to race in club races next year mainly with the Wirral 100 club, all this has come about because my son decided to take the bike out at Angelsey circuit in the classic parade now he would like to have a go at racing it as its a bit different to the sv650 suzuki he races and would like to do the classic manx in the next few years so hopefully we can get it sorted as that is the main aim at the moment.
