CB77 suspension

What have you done to improve the front and rear shocks on your CB72 CB77.

I have a restored 1964 cb77 have fitted the CL steering damper, put 15w fork oil in the front forks and fitted Hagon shocks on the back, and you know the ride is just horrid the rear are so hard there is very little movement in the shocks and they are new made for the Honda CB77, the front end is so soft with very little damping the forks have been stripped and new seals and bushs checked but it seems they are just to soft.

I was thinking of putting heaver oil in the front and getting in touch with Hagon for softer rear springs.

Your thoughts on the front end heaver springs or oil what are you using?

Hi,

I ordered front fork springs for my weight, from Wilbers suspension (progressive springs) three years ago. It's not too soft and not too hard, just perfect. Another oil only influence the damping, not the softness of the front fork. In my case I have 10W oil in the forks, experiment with different volumes for the best results,
