Torquing CA77 Head Bolts

The service manual says 15#, why 21#? Also, I assume clean and DRY treads, correct?LOUD MOUSE wrote:That's terrible.

There is a top and bottom to the studs? How do you tell?LOUD MOUSE wrote:Remove the cap nut then double nut the shaft and remove it. Check the threads for aluminum. Make sure they have the top on top as if upside down the shaft can screw in a lot farther than when it's installed correctly. .................lm

Is this cause for concern? Do I keep on turning regardless?
