I just picked up the bike today. It hasn't been started in 2 yrs. Any suggestions? How and where do you get to the battery?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Battery is under the seat. Two bolts at the rear release the seat.

Does the bike turn over? You may have to clem the tank and carburettors. An oil change and filter clean would be useful. Depending on if / how it runs you might want to follow the tune up instructions found in the yellow bar to the left of this page.

Thanks for the info. It was tuned up prior to being put away 2 yrs ago. The tank was drained and cleaned. The carbs were cleaned at the time.
I'll start messing with it today. Again, thanks

Bojangles, really nice scrambler and 165. I've got a 1955 165 and a 67 scrambler also but mine are both in need of restoration. Are you familiar with the Harley Hummer Club website?
Regards,
Claude
