Compatibility CB 77 right side engine cover

I need to replace my right side engine cover on my CB 77 with engine code CB 77E- 1051050.
I found one that has PN 11330-268-020 but apparently this will only fit CB 77s up to engine number 1002327?
Is that an issue?
Will that part fit all the same?
What could the problem be?

It will fit your engine. The later covers were reinforce to due many covers cracking and breaking.

Depending on which cover you use you will need to use the matching clutch wire joint. The early joint 22875-268-000 is perpendicular to the cover and the later joint 22875-259-020 is a bit angled. The later covers in addition to beefing up the casting to prevent fractures also moved the location of the cable forward a little. I'll post pictures.

Some help please......I am at a standstill with my restoration as I cannot find a replacement right side engine cover. Is there an alternative to PN# 11330-268-020? Are the two numbers mentioned above alternatives?

I have a 1965 Superhawk, SN# CB77-1003809 (Frame)/CB77E-1003824 (Engine). According to the Honda CB-77 parts catalog the 11330-268-020 is for SN CB77E-100001 to CB77E-109354 (if this is correct).

I would apprciate any information for which one is the correct one and where I would likely find one.
