Need Help with Identification.

Post by dbg1ok » Sat Jan 25, 2014 10:38 am

I am just starting the process of restoring my bike (which I believe to be a Honda Scrambler), the trouble is there are so many parts either missing, modified or added on that it is difficult to get a feel for what the bike was originally.

I searched the forum for a method of determining the year and eaxct model, but have come up short. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Frame Number=CL77-1017225
Engine Number=CL77E-1015589
Wiring Harness tag??? none available

Thanks for your help.

From those numbers that scrambler appears to be a '65

I've been collating a Model-Year Database by comparing members' frame numbers, harnesses and registration data with Bill Silver's printed records, but it only accurately covers the CB models.
