new engine for my bike, CB77E-1053102

From the looks of it, this might be an untouched engine. everything inside looks to be in great condition, all STD and no broken fins. i wanted to post pictures to get everyones opinion on my score here. something odd though, the oil filter drive gear lock washer seems to have unbent locking tabs. replaced and never bent? or factory mistake? all the hardware and even the valve covers are unscathed, as if a wrench or screw driver never scuffed them. the cam chain roller wheel also looks amazing, no cracks. very odd, let me know what you all think.

cheers

Difficult to know after all this time but it's nice to find an engine with no signs of butchery. My 1962 C72 Dream motor is similar with less than 5000 miles - I estimate. Even the generator looks new. It does have weather damage though and both the oil filler and tappet caps are solid still.

Enjoy what you have.

You will find (!) tab bent into the crank nut. .....lm
