Camshaft castellated nut query

What are those rare #'s ???.

I would still wager this CL72 has the LH nut.

btw, these heavy sprockets are just nice for smooth riding, but I wonder if it's good for the life expectancy of the cam chain.

Thanks for all the replies, seems a bit of a minefield, are there no markings or other differences to give a clue to what thread may lie beneath?
My worry is that because of the condition the nut will almost certain to be seized and I could tighten more instead of loosen, I will probably assume LH thread and hope for the best.
Any more advice gladly accepted.

You will need to contact Bill.
I agree the CL72 he has may have the LH thread but do know that part with the RH thread exists.

I've never seen any marking to show a difference.
I think you will be safe loosening the nut clockwise.
"you can't break anything if wrong".
That was what I was doing when I realized the nut had to be removed counter clockwise. .......lm
