shift lever 305
i would like to replace my bent shift lever. Sure I can remove it and whoolop it with a hammer but I'd like to fit one proper like. Question: is the splike on which the shift lever fitrs compatable with shift levers on say, 175's, 350's, other Yamahas, zuki's, or Kawi's? Be nice to have a bigger shifting surface for my foot to up shift. Thank you out there.

Shift Lever
My CL77 lever was slightly stripped when I bought it. It didn't seem to want to tighten up and I was worried about stripping the shaft so I got a NOS lever that fits dreams and put her on. I thought about cutting off the heel section but didn't get around to it. I had to slightly bend the heel portion outward just a tad. It fits nice and tight and doesn't bother me since it shifts great. I ran into a guy whose dad owned a Honda shop in the 60's and this guy assembled bikes when they came out of the crates. He noticed the shifter right away. I have had a lot of guys my age (60's) look at it and respond kindly but only the one noticed the shifter. I bought it NOS from Davidsilverspares in England. Tim
