BafflesI ended up buying a set of super hawk baffles from Tim at the 305 parts site....I cut both of them down so they were exactly the same, about 60% of original length. I had to grind down the end piece slightly so it would fit in the pipes and the threaded hole in the baffles lines up with the holes in the back of my pipes near the ends (obviously drilled there for snuf or nots years ago). I spent some time checking the plugs and ended up raising the needle 1 notch to richen it up some so it did not require re-jetting. It runs well and sounds great without being too loud. It is more responsive without the 2 into 1 muffler so I am not going to be putting it back on. Tim
You could duplicate the cl77 inserts with some freeze plugs and a couple of lengths of electrical conduit. Be less restrictive than the average el cheapo slip in style baffles.
