Ever Get the Same Thrill in a Car as You Do a Bike?

Who said it was only about Motorcycles? What else do you collect, restore, enjoy... ?

For me a big part of it was that it was a different kind of challenge, learning new techniques and such.

Yeah the Cayman definitely has motorcycle-like qualities about it. Of course, you have the 'S' whereas we just have the base Cayman, so it's ratcheted up just a bit more for you!

Porsche NA keeps sending me postcards inviting me to participate in their winter driving school in Quebec, and I think they're using Cayman R's. I think that combo would even take it to a whole other level. Maybe some day!

Boys and their toys! I love what I see here!

Now, did someone mention "trains" a while back?

I've worked with trains pretty much my whole life. Wouldn't call myself an enthusiast but I do like to take photographs (my other passion) of them.

I grew up on a farm so still like to see some working machines - especially the well-restored ones.

G, great shots! I was thinking "what a shame to get that tractor dirty" after doing such a lovely restore. But then again, machines are meant to be used. Restoring is bringing them back to life - let them do what they are meant to do!

Nice Cayman Vince. I like red Porsches also. My 930 is my favorite 4 wheel ride of all time and my Ninja 250 is my favorite 2 wheel ride of all time. But then I've only been riding for a little over 50 years. I can't wait to get my Scrambler restored. It'll be a fun ride but more in a nostalgic type way.

I sold my '68 Barracuda 2 weeks ago, ive had it for 7 years, loved it, but it's time for something 'new'

Gonna get me one of these this weekend !

An old Daf YA126 from 1955 !

A cool Dutch product with a cool American engine, a Hercules JXC 6 cilinder.

Cars are slow anyway if you drive motorcycle's, so I might as well get me an ultra slow car, but with much more options then the old Cuda.
