67 CB450 K0 Black Bomber for sale

Post by mdclips » Mon Jan 14, 2013 4:28 pm

I have finally decided that I need to reduce my collection, so I am planning to sell my Black Bomber this spring, probably on Ebay. I thought I'd post it here, because it is an especially nice bike that a collector may want - and why not avoid Ebay if possible.

The bike is one of the best I have seen. I bought it about 5 years ago from the original owner - it has a little over 5000 miles. The only reconditioning that has been done is:

Professional speedometer rebuild (it was making noise)
Seat foam replaced, seat hinges replaces with reproductions, original seat cover reinstalled
Fenders, side covers, and tank professionally repainted
New tires
and maybe some other minor stuff - but the bike is very very original.
It runs very well. The title is clear and in my name.
This is a no-nonsense bike that can be shown or ridden. It is amazing.

My fixed price (no negotiating please) is $7500. The bike is located in Maryland.

I am also selling an '75 goldwing that is in amazing condition ($6k) , and a fully restored '66 CA95 ($3250) if anyone is interested.

I have been a forum member for a while, but not very active. I am a friend of Vince - who many may know on this forum - he is familiar with the bike and has ridden it.

You can pm me for more info.

MDCLIPS,
There is a Classified Ad area in this Forum for items that people want to sell. Also the Topic Area you used is for CB72, CB77, CP77, CBM72 and Superhawk; none of the three bikes you listed fit this topic. Most people that use this forum try to keep it as clean and organized as possible. Next time please use it properly. Thank you, Cliff

OK I see that now. Only saw the "wanted" section when I posted the ad

I can personally vouch for all three of these bikes, and have ridden two of them. Amazing, incredible condition of all of them, and Scott (mdclips) does things the 'right' way (except of course when he posts in the wrong section!). The GoldWing is super-smooth, and if I had room at my house, it would definitely have a home here (in addition to the Black Bomber, and another one of Scott's bikes which shall remain nameless -- you know which one Scott!). Actually, in my 'Japan Meets Britain' thread, I have a post of me riding the Black Bomber.

Of the GoldWing family, the GL as the one pictured has always been my favorite. Like the early 750's...just plain sharp. Quik, powerful, good looks, comfortable and well engineered...oops...I'm (daaa-rip) drooling again...gotta go!
