Poor Throttle Action

Post by Gregg » Sun Apr 22, 2007 8:36 am

My bike is finally on the road but my throttle response is poor; it just doesn't snap back to idle like it should. I may have the routing of the cable wrong. Can someone let me know the proper routing. The cable is well lubricated. Thanks Gregg

I know mine does not snap back like alot of newer bikes either( just nature of the beast I think), but does go back.Is the twist grip well lubed? Are you sure your carb slide is not binding?Cable just comes down thru the bars behind the light back thru the frame on the left to the carb.

Mine didn't snap back fast either so I loosened the two carb nuts that bolt to the motor a little bit and it worked perfectly. Paul
