loud mouse,
Calm down! I was simply telling him that the CL crank DID NOT have oiling provisions for the starter drive sprocket that would go on the crankshaft (only to show that THAT was a difference between the different motors and I told him that just for his info, in case he ever got the idea to swap out the cranks and use a CL crank)! I SAID that the CL had a bit more power that the C or CA, NOT the CB! On the crankshaft thing, YOU were the one who I got the info from about the lack of an oiling passage on the CL crank. If you'll settle down and reread what I said about the crankshafts, I think you'll see what I really said. I'd appreciate it if you'd approach me personally, if you think I've said something that wasn't correct. Instead of jumping on me, why didn't you inform him of the difference yourself? I admire you guys who have the experience with these bikes and some info that some of us might not have and appreciate your sharing but, don't treat folks like they are stupid. I'm gone. Bill

I just know that I was trying to pass on info to a new member and I didn't realize that I said that you can put an electric starter on a Cl (because had failed to type an apostrophe and a T after the word "can", thereby changing what I was actually trying to say. I was also trying to say that the CL had a bit more power that the C or the CA. And when I saw the way you responded, to me, it had the appearance of me being jumped on. I would like for you to have gone on to give the new member the benefit of your knowledge. Instead, you responded to me and moved on. I believe that this helped me to think hat the full concentration was on me. If I seem a little jumpy to you, it might be because there are sites that have some folks who have little or no regard to others views or feelings. I've been around here for a little while, but I'm still getting to know you all.

So, now that we've gone all through that, is any body going to add anything to answer this guys questions? Just wondering.
Later on, Bill
