Odd serial number question

Good point, oldstan. Sometimes I overlook the most obvious things...like, if you think something might be wrong - check it out, dummy!

I'll have a look as soon as I finish my morning coffee and 'see what's new on Honda305.com' Saturday morning routine

The cam chain tensioner seems fine. It was not at full extension (maximum pushed in), still a bit to go. Rubber bumper is a bit dented from the spring-pusher, but the rubber wheel is in good shape.

Wierdly, the tensioner on my bike has the adjuster pointing left. I have three used spares, and they all adjust pointing right. I dunno, does it matter?
