61 engine stuff

Post by GORDON BROWN » Wed Mar 21, 2012 1:04 pm

Hello Jan

I have a set of 61 cases that have been modified with a breather pipe stub on the tower, (CR style) and cut away a bit etc. as you do for racing.
Are you planing to build it as a 250cc or does it not matter ? as I may have a 61 Cyl. assy. but I think it would need a OS rebore.
The cases would be no good for a standard type restoration but OK for a racer style machine.
If this may be of use I could dig them out and take some pictures.
