ca77 rear brake light switch

Post by Forest » Tue Jul 24, 2012 3:21 am

Hello everyone. I've been having a lot of trouble trying to find a way to properly actuate the rear brake light switch on my 63 honda dream. The previous owner just tied a wire from the rear brake rod to the light switch but that hardly ever works. Ive been looking at my parts manual but I cant figure out which spring or arm i need to properly set up the brake light switch. Any ideas? Any spare parts laying around? Any helpful diagrams?

Thanks!

Ok. Thankyou. That really helps out a lot. I've been trying to track down the brake switch arm and spring on ebay but i cant find any. I have the brake switch but i need the rest of the assembly. Does anyone have those spare parts laying around that I could buy?

Thanks for everyones help
