Correct fuel hose?Correct fuel hose? Can someone let me know the ID and OD of the stock fuel hoses on a 1965 CB77 and where I can buy enough to replace all the hoses? I want to stick as close as possible to original appearance. Thanks, Rone
Listed as 5mm but the commonly available stuff has a much larger OD than original. I found some 8.5mm OD (which is very close to the original rock hard fuel lines I've encountered) on the following website:
http://www.dssales.net/FUEL.html (look for 8955MC) I think I had to buy ten meters and the nine I have left is in a bag in my garage. It's been on my bike for three seasons now with no problems. PM me if you want some for postage. The clips in the parts fiche fit good and are available from Honda (95002-50000). -48 48: Thank you for that offer, but here's what happened today: my local Honda dealer called and told me they had rolls of the correct rubber fuel line on the shelf for $2.50 a foot. I went down there with a sample and sure enough, it was the correct ID and OD. So I bought what I needed for my '65 CB77 and as I type this the tank is now back on my bike with the old, hard and cracked fuel lines replaced. I really appreciate your response and offer. Many thanks, Rone
