Well the bike is done and runs but only ok. Idle and timing jumps around. I thinking its the timing advancer. At least i got to enjoy it before i leave. I'll do a full rebuild when i get back in a year. Thanks everybody for the advise and encouragment.

Well went on my last ride the other day before putting the bike up and bad new. Bike locked up doing about 65mph in a corner and almost lost it. Pulled off the road and let the motor cool off for about an hour and a half and still locked up. I got the bike back home and torn it down to see what had happened and the left cylinder sezied. I also found that whoever had the motor apart put it back together with a lot of silicon blocking allot of the oil galley for the head. Now the question, find and have someone rebuild the motor while im gone for a year or do it when i get back.

Oh, no....well, I'm glad you didn't go down. That's the important part.
