need pistons clearance

Post by voxa_33 » Tue Jun 19, 2012 10:08 pm

Hi! Anyone know what is the factory piston clearance? I'm dropping at machine shop cylinders and pistons and they ask me what is clearance?
Please any help or links will be very helpful.

Thanks!

Tell your machinist you won't .002 clearance measuring from the bottom of the piston skirt.
Make sure your sleeves are tight in the cylinder or you will never get proper heat transfer.

Good luck,
Tim
