kick start assembly

Post by rrrestorations » Tue Apr 17, 2012 6:56 am

Need help on a basket case ca77 engine kickstart assembly.
all apart in pieces . I have the kicker shaft a spring and two washers.
No gears as I have seen in other posts. When I view a parts fiche diagram it does not show any gears, only a coil spring two washers and a c clip. My question is do I have missing parts or did they make different setups. The reason why i ask is because the parts diagram I downloaded only shows the coil spring ,washers and c clip no gears.
Please help.

Thanks,
Rob in Indiana

The CB72/77 uses gears as it is a Kick Forward assembly.
Yours is direct to the Kick Shaft. ..........lm
