that beveled washer, sorry to hijack. just put mine on, is it correct that the umm ...ok lets call that washer an "ice cream cone". does the small end of the "cone" face the nut and the large face the sprocket? thats the way it came apart and some monkey was in here before. double checking

Thank ya for the pics as I was concerned that the case may have friction damage.

How difficult is it to get the shaft and chain situated back together after you remove the oil filter cover? When I took it off it seemed like everything just fell apart into the bottom of the case and I wasn't sure what went where and how it all went back together.
