Rear wheel does not spin true...
Rear wheel does not spin true...Just rode my Dream for the first time and immediately noticed the rear wheel is not true. Can these wheels be repaired or is replacement the only solution?
Re: Rear wheel does not spin true...??????????????????????????. ...........lm
Re: Rear wheel does not spin true...Lateral runout. How exact a science is the process of making it true again?
Re: Rear wheel does not spin true...Not sure where we are with the wheel.
Maybe this is the answer???? The center of the rim should be adjusted to the center of the hub. If it's the rim isn't centered to the fender may be same as above, wrong spacers, bent swing arm?. ...............lm
Re: Rear wheel does not spin true...The wheel is centered to the fender. It's just that as the wheel spins there is about a 20 degree section of the rim that kicks to the left as it rotates. The result is that the entire rear section of the bike seems to kick back and forth as I roll down the road. The rest of the wheel seems ok. No obvious intrusion into the wheel as if it had hit a curb.
Re: Rear wheel does not spin true...Ya may need a different rim. ...............lm
Re: Rear wheel does not spin true...I'm hoping not. If so, what can I expect to have to pay for an excellent condition replacement? Anyone reading this have any experience with Buchanan's wheel repair in Azusa, CA? http://www.buchananspokes.net/
