Ebay Mirrors

Post by steven0356 » Tue Jan 09, 2007 5:46 pm

has anyone picked up a set of these mirrors?

Is there a better alternative for mirrors then these someplace?

I guess I need mirrors to make the bike street legal right?

Looks like original Honda mirrors. They're still available from your local Honda dealer by the way, #88110-041-000 (right) and #88120-041-811 (left) at about $22 apiece MSRP.
You don't have a whole lot of options these days since they went to a standard 10mm thread in the 70's. 8mm is pretty much relegated to the moped world, so you might have better luck finding something there.
Nothing like having the originals though!

I am planning on using clutch/brake levers with 10mm perches on my Dream. Opens up the options for mirrors.

I purchased new levers and related hardware on Ebay and they were 10 MM but my original mirrors were 8 mm so I went with a heli coil kit and it was the easiest thing to do and took only a few minutes. Now the original mirrors fit the perches perfectly. Paul
