Well said Ed! It wasn't so long ago that I didn't have a clue. I've gained so much knowledge from this forum, from other that are into these bikes, and by getting my hands greasy as well. I think it's great that Rob took the time to research the serial #s for the breathers!

Davo ya are one of the best.
Also I like to see members go to "More Than What I Thought" for answers/replies from other members and not go defensive.
Ya notice "I do let ya go" for a while?. .........lm

Thanks for the compliment, and yes I've noticed, as well as when you correct me when I'm mistaken. It's nice to see the members get into identifying the "non correct" parts on these bikes. I have to say though, 99.99999 % of folks wouldn't know the difference. We must be part of the .00001 % !

Ya and others will know what's correct and if the time ever comes ya see a bike ya would like to own ya will have a really good idea of what's correct and a better idea of the actual value if ya have to "Make It Right". ..............lm ............lm

I can't stand it anymore! You all missed the most obvious fault...

The CL is a DIRT BIKE!!! Doesn't have half the flair of a CB or CA model

Real men ride CL's. We do it in the street and we do it in the dirt.

All seriousness aside, I've learned a ton on this site. Everytime somebody has a problem, I try to figure it out myself, by scouring the parts and service manuals for the answer or at least clues. I know from experience that you learn more thru troubleshooting that you ever will just reading books.

All the CL77s looked the same to me. Actually, I did not know a CL from a CB a few years ago. They were all just variances of the early Hondas to me. It was not until I got my S90 that I realized how much I love these little gems.

Keep the challenges coming LM. Finding new ways to challenge us will keep you out of trouble.
