I'm new here, but not new to Honda's or to other older Japanese bikes. Most of what I have is Suzuki (several GT750's, a couple of T/GT500's) plus a 1966 Yamaha. I just recently bought a 1968 CL77 and just got it home earlier this week (photo below). Its largely original including the paint (the seat is in the van by the way). Luckily we made it back just ahead of the snow !

Looking forward to comparing notes and suggestions on resources over the next while.

Nice looking Scrambler! 67 was the last year of production for the 305s. Yours is a 67. They were often titled as the first year they sold. More pics please when you get a chance!

Thanks Dave - I know there is always debate over the model year with these. Based on the wire loom I can confirm that it was at least built in 1967. Given the lead time from manufacture to market there would obviously be quite a lag and up here (Canada) at least, that colour combo with the chrome fenders was commonly referred to as being a '68.

The key thing is that it runs and sounds as sweet as I recall !!

OJB nice looking 67 candy orange bike. I also have a candy orange 67. Is that the bike that sold on EBAY last week from the Washington state area? Would love to see more pics. You might want to put your home location in your profile

Very nice looking bike! Great condition from the pics.

Alberta, huh? You get what, 2 weeks of riding weather up there? I worked up there many years ago in Ft. McMurray. I had worked the month of Jan in Curacao in the Caribbean and then went from there to Ft. McMurray. Went from 90F every day to -30F every day. Body went into thermal shock. Had fun though. Great people, treated me like an old friend. Bob and Doug McKenzie were popular down here at the time so everyone was a "hoser". It was a good assignment.

You will love this bike. One of my favorites for going out for a general ride on the back roads. Lots of help here, too. Good bunch.

Done ! Thanks for the reminder. And yes, it is the one that was offered in Washington state - I expect I'll get more photos up once I've finished doing a service on it. Cosmetically it is fairly clean, but has a few minor problems which I've been sorting (brake switch, headlamp, fuel pet cock etc.) plus I need to repack the steering head bearings and get some grease into the other fittings. Busy with other projects at the moment, but the winters up here are long :-)

Thanks Rob - I used to wrench for a friend of mine who had one of these - rebuilt the engine once and did a light restoration for him a few years later back in the '70s/'early '80s. I've been looking for one in this colour with original paint for a while - it is sort of a bucket list item for my collection I suppose.
