mix and match case halves

I would suggest you obtain some engineers blue and see if;
1st, the faces match up,
2nd the crankcase bearing faces match with a bearing inserted in each section one at a time.
Any mismatch on the 1st one may give you oil leaks, and the 2nd, well depends on how much distortion/ mismatch you are talking about, or approach it by the gung-ho method and suck-it and see!

The cases will match just fine as HONDA made them to be that way.
If ya want to go through a bunch of checking (European engines required ya do it) than go ahead but these 250/305 cases match!. ........lm

I use mismatched cases on some of my race engines with no ill effects or oil leaks. All the best Jerry
