Betor forks

Post by Hotshoe » Tue Sep 13, 2011 9:08 pm

Have any of you fabrication gurus ever installed Betor front forks on a CL77 frame?
If so, how?
If not, any suggestions?
The attached pic looks like Betor forks and triple trees installed on a CL frame.
I'm guessing it has a CL stem adapted to the Betor triple trees.
Thanks, Chuck.

You have to either adapt the CL steerer to the triples, or make a steerer with the CL dimensions. The steerer clamps into the lower triple, so it should not be too difficult to do.

Thanks Davo, that's pretty much what I was thinking about the Betor forks so I guess I'm headed in the right direction.
That Elsinore/305 is interesting, good eye on the frame.
Did you notice the clutch side case, looks like he removed the oil filter and reshaped the case.
Less spinning mass right on the crank apparently.

Good eye on the clutch case! I'd love to see more pics of all sides of that bike!
