mounting brackets

Post by rrtccp » Wed Nov 03, 2010 10:45 pm

Hey davo, i believe the mounting brackets are already on the mufflers, the pipes are complete, unless you mean the brackets to mount the actual header to the cylinder head.... i could post better pics of diff angles and the other sides of the pipes if anybody is interested. just pm me, and i'll fire off what ever pics are asked for ... i don;t think anyone would be disappointed with these pipes, i can't imagine anyone finding better pipes than these .. anywhere... nick

Nick, the later one piece pipes use a seperate brcket that goes from the muffler to the frame mount.

I'd say that you were given correct information; it's just a market-difference misnomer. In UK/Europe (& possibly domestic Japan & Canada) the US-named Super Hawk was marketed as the 'Honda Dream 250' Sport and 'Honda Dream 300' Super Sport. Hence the CB was also known as 'Dream' until some time in '63 which is when the tank emblems were changed to 'Honda 250' or 'Honda 300'.
