CL77 Headlamp

Right now, my bike has about a 6.5" diameter 12V 25/35W sealed beam incandescent headlamp. I would like to convert the bulb to something brighter, like a halogen, but can only find incandescent replacements. My google searches have produced nothing. Any ideas?

I have a friend who would very carefully break out the original filaments with a pair of needle nose pliars and fashion a holder for the halogen bulbs. I always ran the halogen 1157s in my tail lights as they were very prone to breaking due to vibration.
