305 scrambler

yep--- That was the one I was watching. Milford is not too far from me. It is a great looking bike but my wife would have killed me if I bought another one. My old "basement bike" has already cost me a fortune to restore. How is the chrome in the wheels.? Any spots or pitting. Even though mine was inside all those years the chrome pitted some. Not bad but not good. Maybe new rims in the future....Hopefully cylinders are coming back any day now so I can get one with the restore.... mike

Wheel chrome looks great. I have been into classic cars for several years and we use the term the term “20 footer” to describe cars that look great from 20 feet but close inspection will reveal some flaws. I would label my bike a “20 footer” as opposed to a show bike but that’s okay. Like my 63 Pontiac, I would much rather be going down the road than sitting at a show. I may make the effort to put my bike into the show quality category someday but for now I’m just going to make some miles.
