Does anyone recommend a person or company that repairs gas tanks? I have a tank that the metal piece inside the tank that the two petcock screws screw into is missing. I need a metal piece made and welded on the outside that allows me to mount the petcock.
Thanks,
David

Hi. I would think a reputable radiator shop would take care of that. Good luck.

i brought my tank to a radiator and battery shop, they pressure tested it, found a hole, welded it up and coated the inside on the tank all for $60

Thanks friends for the suggestions. I had not thought of a radiator shop. I'm going to try that.
