Ok so the owner is due to pick up the bike tomorrow and I just worked it out to kick over easy (no battery and no capacitor either).
Now it is throwing sparks, BIG ONES, between the plates of the SCR. Will one of the Radio Shack solid state full wave rectifiers fix this? or is this a result of not having a battery? I can't set the idle until I get this fixxed.. Please send help.
