CB77 Starter solenoid hookup

Post by Dana01 » Thu Apr 14, 2011 2:41 pm

Forgot to make note of which goes to which terminal. I know it shouldn't matter for a basic solenoid, but who knows with this beast.

My assumption: the starter lead connects to the "uphill" (left) solenoid terminal and the battery to the "downhill" (right) solenoid terminal. The diagram is vague.

Gracias!
Dana

That's the way i put mine back together. Just seemed to fit best that way. When I got it the solenoid was hose clamped to the frame and the starter cable was outside the case.
