I didn't know Tim sold DREAM piston kits. .........lm

Those are CB/CL77 pistons and will lower the compression. ..........lm

That kit includes new liners. It's cheaper to find a pair of Pistons rings and clips and get the liners bored and honed.

Any good automotive machine shop can bore them for 60 - 80 per hole. Try Bill Bune in MN if you don't have a good engine shop close by.

I have not looked at Tim's kit, but liners are usually made slightly small and have to be finish bored and honed to match the pistons.

Tim's pistons are forged I think and Bore tech are probably cast. If you can find a pair on ebay that's probably the way to go, or use a bore-tech set if you can't.

But before you do any of that, what is the piston to bore clearance now?

There has to be a way to get you out of the excrement of those incriminating increments.

Ok. Now I am massively confused. I thought I should be looking for cb pistons instead of ca. I don't want to end up with less compression.

Also, I don't understand difference between forged and cast pistons.

The issue is that my cylinders are tapered and show signs of trying to seize.

How would you proceed? I am all ears. What should I buy to do this job, given that I definitely need to have cylinders bored?

I had my cylinder bored and got the pistons, rings and pin clips from Ohio Cycle;http://www.ohiocycle.com/
He has pistons in both NOS and aftermarket. I believe he has the pins as well, if you need them.
