Message to Newbies - POSTING PICTURES IN A THREAD

Hey Newbies, Old Timers, and Friends,

So let me tell you how you can post pictures INSIDE the thread instead of attaching the picture to the message...

Step 1: Open a Flickr Account
Step 2: Upload the images you want to post to that Flickr account
Step 3: Find the image in your Flickr account that you want to post
Step 4: Click on "Share This" in the grey top navigation bar
Step 5: Click on Grab the HTML/BBCode and elect to get the "BBCODE" on the bottom radio button
Step 6: Copy the HTML in the box and simply paste it in your message

Note: Do NOT use the "IMG" button in the Forum posting tool - its not necessary, just copy and paste the HTML from FLICKR BBCODE and it will appear on the forum in the thread insteaf, not as an attachement.

The pros? Its higher resolution and it does not need the user to download it... ;)

i have posted pics on here before in reply to a post. have not used flickr yet, but hadnt had problems until recently when trying to attach to a post. keeps coming up with the error "Tried to upload empty file". any ideas whats happening. promise i can email and send pics every other way but on the forums.

mines doing the same thing. there's a limit to the size you can upload though, i think thats the problem
