Actually the bike in the background is a 1965 CL72 which will also get some attention some day! Beyond the CL72 is a 1981 CB900F and the roller is beyond that.

David,

I lucked out as the front fender is straight and the stay is just a little bent, but not bad. The CL72 had a bobbed fender when I bought it in 2001 and I was lucky enough to find a good aluminum fender and stay for it. I have a spare steel 6 hole fender if that will help you, but not another stay. There has been one on eBay that you could "Buy Now" for $600.

Yes..." I will do the buy it now" thing right away...Ha Ha. So shoot me now...I gave away a Cl72 back in 1990 or so....no place to store it.....kicking myself ever since. My CL is nowhere near needing a fender yet.....what I have may suffice...am working on a list for the near future tho. Making a sign"Will work for Honda parts"......may need it. Pics soon so I can get advice on what to do with my mess.Kev.

Tom,
Yes I'm interested in the fender if it's in real nice shape. I've put a lot of effort and money into this restor and I'm trying to make it almost show quality. Call me.
Kevin, I have a spare parts bike that I used and I have most of it I'm willing to sell to anyone I can help.

Hi Kevin, and Tom,

I live fairly close to you guys in PA, just over the Maryland and Delaware borders. I am doing a restoration on a 67 CL77currently. I am starting from a pile of parts and “rolling chassis” left behind by my oldest brother. It’s been fun and frustrating so far. A few major items have me tripped up at this point. The first is a crank and the second is a rear rim. I think I will have the crank handled soon. I have 4 cranks, 2 of them have bad little rod ends, one is just bad all around, and the other has marginal rod ends. I plan to give honing the little rod ends and fitting the oversize pins a shot in the near future so hopefully I will be over that hurdle. I still am searching for a rear rim worth of re-chroming but haven’t had much luck yet. I don’t have any extra CL specific parts but do have a bunch of engine/trans parts so if you are looking for something send me a PM.

Good luck and we should meet up when our rides are ready,
Rich
