That is one beautiful bike, and a great inspiration. Is that green an authentic original color? If so, do you or does anyone know if it was offered on the CB77? I like it even better than the red that I was planning, but I do want to keep the bike authentic. Thanks.

CB77's never came this color green, as stated earlier it is a MGB color. Original Superhawks seem to be mostly black, less seldom all red, even less seldom all blue, even less seldom than that all white and I think least black with red tank- I think this was an option. Any old timers want to comment? This bike was painted green in about 1967 or 68 so I think I will keep it this color, even if I repaint anything.

As far as progress on the project, I made a trade with Charlie of Charlies place and got a battery- just have to pick it up.
Matt

Also into Alfa Romeo Giuliettas and Giulias! Looking for a Giulia Super.

Ah, sorry. I skipped over that bit in the thread last night, but caught it this morning. Mine is the original black but the paint condition is not good and I'm shooting for 100 points anyway. There are enough black motorcycles in the world. I'll go with the red (it's the fastest color).

just wondering the status on the bike.
I'm sure she's up and running fine now, otherwise you'd be asking questions like the rest of us :p

I really just want to see a final picture of the beaut.
