broken off key in ignition..help?broken off key in ignition..help?Ok guys..so i got my 1965 small brake cl77 home:) and im beginning the restore project..gotta get her running before i tackle cosmetics;) sooo that being said..first thing i have found is a broken off key in ignition:( any ideas or help on best way to fix this? I saw blanks on ebay..BUT not sure i can get broken piece out of ignition..so any place i can get a replacement ignition? Or? Whats best option for this newbie? I appreciate all ideas..im looking forward to getting her running asap!:) thanks all!
Try removing the broken off part with two small picks, scribes, screwdivers etc. If you're successful, there will be a number on the front of the switch starting with T NA or NB . Post the #s on here, and one of us may have the key you need.

switchMy first cl had the same problem, broken off key. I took the whole switch out and asked a lock smith in town to extract it and luckily he was able to. Then he made me a key that was not a correct one for the bike but would turn the darned thing and that was OK by me. If you feel you need a correct one for the bike, look around here, or you may find a lock smith clever enough to fix you up. Rusty
