trouble starting my superhawk! need advice

the only thing is that the day before i was cruisin at 45mph and this happened out of nowhere

Next time it starts to act up, crack the fuel cap loose when it starts to cut out and see if it straightens out. If it does the vents plugged in the cap. Very common. I had allready cleaned mine out and still had troubles. This creates a vacuum in the tanks so the carbs dont get enough fuel. Sometimes it would go 30 miles sometimes only 2 before acting up depending on how much fuels in the tank.

Sounds like you just have some dirt floating about in the carbs. Give them a good clean out and see what happens.
