Since I'm taking down the motor I will slide out the primary drive sprocket and clutch basket with the primary chain as a unit. To get the nut lock off you need to flatten the lock washer tabs. You should fid at least one folded over into one of the recesses on the lock nut. Next take a flattened chisel or heavy screwdriver and give the nut a whack in the counter clockwise position. After loosening it should just finger spin off. I noticed a problem with my assy and I'll tell you about it in the next post.
