Tire type for spoked wheels

Just out of curiosity, is it ok to use a tubeless type tire with a tube on spoked wheels?

I can't remember where I read it, but I remember reading that the general rule of thumb is that if you use a tubeless tire with a tube, you have to get one speed rating higher than normal. The reason is, is that the tube tires build more heat on the inside than the tubeless do.

I'd say you should be okay. Alot of tires are designated to be used for either one. If in doubt, check with the manufacturer.
