Look for a white tag on the main wire harness, if it's still there it will have the year of production on it.

oops, didnt reply, tried on my phone and it messed up...
ive got a slant 6, motor is from a 74 valiant, (orginal has spun rod bearing, still have it, may rebuild someday) gm hei ignition, and a 2bbl setup from a 77 volare. in the middle of a disc brake conversion now, its been too cold and the bike is in the basement, so its a little warmer to work on! have a buddy here in indy with a 68 baracuda, his is a fastback, but im partial to the notchback style.

Yeah, the Notchback's looks kinda cooler, I agree. Probably also because they are more rare'ish.

Cool car man, don't have personal experience with the Slant 6 , but they seem to be good motors !

Funny think, my small V8 also never let me down , they darn thing always starts , nomatter how cold or hot it is, and I does not even have a choke on it.

Funny little engine that loves to rev.

yeah, its a trooper...the fastback ones are awesome too, love that glass, its pretty iconic. havent had any experience with the 273, except there was a guy back near my parents that had a completely junked dart 273 same color as mine, he wanted a lot for not alot of car, too much missing/broken/rusty, the passenger door latched with a lock hasp screwed to the door if that give you clues to how bad it was trashed BEFORE it sat through 30+ illinois winters outside/hungry animals inside.
