Hi Steve,

Looking at your picture I see why you're avatar is Esteve.
All original electrical parts are replaced by more modern pats, isn't it ?

Jensen
assembly of Japanese motorcycles requires great peace of mind (Pirsig)

Right track, Jensen, but not quite there. When I joined this forum in '03 I had been working,
for a couple of years, as a marine electronics tech for a company called e³ systems
(yes, all lower case by design) or, more correctly, e-to-the-power-of-3 (cubed) systems;
the company started life, in electrical & electronic engineering, in '96 with 3 like-minded guys here in Maj.
I created my e3steve@msn.com email handle when I bought my first PC in '01,
so it made sense to simply carry the first part forward.

I left the company to go it alone (again) in '05, but still retain the MSN
email (my first) address. Obviously I dropped out of the company's
domain with steve@e3s.com.

Sorry to post the same thing on two threads, but I just got my Motobatt MB9U today off of Ebay and tried to install it. It seems to be too tall. I look like it sits higher than the picture earlier in the thread. My seat will not clip on its pegs. I'll post a picture in a few minutes.

Sorry guys, it appears I am the idiot this time. I was unaware that there were two "boxes" under the battery that were removable. I took one off and it seems to fit great.

Since the battery question has been answered, allow me to take this thread on a tangent....

Gorgeous little tank on that roadracer, Mark. I see an planishing hammer set up in the background. Did you make that tank?

regards,
Rob
